The Thompson School Wrestling Team and their Coach Michael Oxley held a fundraising run and raised an amazing $2,700 for the Timothy Pauxtis Foundation. Coach Oxley’s son Michael was a friend and classmate of Timmy’s. We are thankful and honored that for a second year in a row that the Thompson School Wrestling Team continues to remember Timmy, and support his Foundation.

On October 7th, 2007, our Timmy was once again remembered when a wonderful man named Doug ran in The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon with Timmy’s name on the back of his shirt. The Chicago Marathon was grueling this year due to the intense heat. Almost half of the participants did not finish, but Doug did! He told us that he felt Timmy pulling for him, and did not give up because of Timmy. Doug sent us the shirt he wore and the medal he received for finishing the marathon. Thank you Doug….we will treasure these gifts forever.

Just a few dollars could help support medical researchers in their quest to find more effective treatments for pediatric brain tumors.
